Detrex Partners with Taji Langu Foundation to Champion the Future of Young Girls

On December 11th 2024, Detrex participated as a key partner in last year’s Taji Langu Foundation in Likoni ,Kwale , themed ‘What Next After School.’ This impactful event was dedicated to equipping adolescent girls and young people with essential skills, knowledge, and confidence to successfully navigate adolescence and build a strong foundation for their future.

As a committed advocate for community health, Detrex recognizes that proper hygiene plays a crucial role in the well-being and confidence of young girls. By promoting good hygiene practices, we empower them to maintain their health, enhance self-esteem, and prepare for future success.

Health is a fundamental pillar in the development of young teenage girls, impacting their education, confidence, and future opportunities. Proper health care, including hygiene awareness and nutrition, ensures they can fully participate in school and social activities without setbacks. Highlighting these issues through initiatives like the Girl Empowerment Forum brings much-needed attention to the importance of preventive care, menstrual hygiene, and access to health resources, ultimately empowering young girls to make informed choices about their well-being. Detrex remains dedicated to fostering a cleaner, healthier future for the next generation, ensuring that every girl has access to the resources and knowledge necessary to thrive.
